12th Std Program
Since 2013, ASHA has been providing educational help to all girls till HSC exam, 12th standard. As of March 2023, 77 girls have appeared for HSC exam from different streams.
Of these 77 girls,
- 10 girls appeared in Home science stream. One girl passed in distinction, 2 passed in first class and 7 girls passed in second class.
- 6 girls appeared in science stream of which 3 passed in First class and 3 girls passed in second class.
- 12 girls appeared in Arts stream of which 5 girls passed in First class and 7 girls passed in second class.
- 48 girls appeared in commerce stream of which 5 girls passed in distinction, 17 girls passed in first class and 26 girls passed in second class.
Current status of ex students of ASHA who passed 10th and 12th std
As per our records, 29 girls completed their graduation & working as accountant, office assistant etc.
23 girls are doing graduation.
23 girls got married after completing graduation.
There were 16 girls in the group who need a special mention since they might have dropped out of school if they had not come to ASHA’s group. Most of these girls’ home situation was adverse. There were problems of domestic violence, addictions and gender discrimination within the family. With ASHA’s support all of them completed 12th std , 4 of them are now working & 8 got married.
One girl completed engineering from Computer science after passing 10th std in 2016 with 92%. Now she is working in MNC in Pune.
Two girls completed diploma in mechanical engineering after SSC exam and now they are working in industry.
Two girls who completed graduation from home science stream are now working as interior designers.
